STP FINALISATION AND WORKERS COMP

I am preparing for EOFY finalisation and discovered that while the  payment summary and register agree my verification report does not. I have discovered one area for an employee who was on workers comp.

 

The WC category has been assigned a STP category and the employee is ticked and included in the category also PAYG is not ticked as exempt.

 

Is there someone who can advise re this.

    It seems like you're preparing for EOFY finalization and have encountered some discrepancies with your reports. It's crucial to ensure that the workers compensation is assigned to gross payments and that it includes PAYG. I'd recommend taking another look at the employee's payroll categories to make sure everything's set up right. If the problem keeps happening, try comparing the payroll register and activity report with your year-to-date (YTD) verification report. This should help figure out what's causing the difference.
