I am also having the same issue - only terminated employees are not "tax ready".
ATO has been contacted - they have the information but are saying tax ready not ticked, although the grey tick is showing in MYOB Accountright.
My terminated employees are contacting me asking why not tax ready.
ATO could not provide any clarity either, except to say to issue a paper copy of their details so they could manually enter.
I fixed this problem. It turns out to be the "termination reason".
What i have done is:
1. Reverse finalisation of those terminated employees.
2. Undo their termination
3. Add termination again but with selecting termination reason.
4. Finalise their payroll
And the staff told me his tax is ready after like 10 minutes.

I had already put in a termination reason so unfortunately that did not help my situation.
I have ended up escalating with ATO, as they have confirmed they have the information but just not ticked tax ready although I have done everything correctly.
MYOB have suspended the rollout of STP2, so this suggests to me that the issue is with MYOB and single touch payroll 2 and how it reports to the ATO.
