STP phase 2 and terminated staff
Hi everyone, we have 2 staff who were paid overtime hours which was reported through STP as standard. however we noticed that since our phase 2 has started , these 2 staff who were terminated befor phase 2 started, do not have their overtime hours included in their EOFY STP summary of payments. (our reconciliation between ST and MYOB reports is out of balance by these exact amounts).
On investigation we have discovered that the overtime category was not allocated in our STP phase 2 work, and the staff were terminated befor the allocation error was corrected.
Other staff who were paid overtime and are still working with us , have their overtime included in their EOFY STP Summary.
How do we go about allocating the overtime $ for the 2 terminated staff members to STP?
Hi Everyone this problem has been solved. There is a MYOB fix: - we need to make the staff active in the Card file and remove the termination date - then undo the termiantion in STP reporting and send the ATO STP update.
Then reconcile YTD and STP should balance to your MYOB.
Following that - re-terminate the staff.
