Our teams are in the process of migrating using the original MYOB Essentials platform across to the newer MYOB Essentials platform so they can transition to STP phase 2. We will have more information and updates on how this is going to impact users ahead of the end of the year so they can plan accordingly for their STP v2 transition.

As you posted your query on the Original MYOB Essentials board I thought you were referring to that product. I have moved your query to the AccountRight Staffing and Payroll board.
In terms of AccountRight, we did have an issue that prevented businesses from moving to STP Phase 2 if they have more than 200 employee cards. This issue has been resolved in AccountRight 2022.10 - released yesterday evening. If you are encountering a different situation with that transition providing some additional information would be required.Hi Steven
I'm still reading through all the issues users are having with AccountRight including those since the update to 2022.10, so my original question still applies - will MYOB be applying for a deferall for STP2 till June 2023 (as Reckon have done) to make sure every glitch and problem is ironed out.
I'm still offline on STP1 which I've been using for my clients since V2018 was launched and they are all still insisting that I have to keep their data offline
Deferral till the end of the 2022-2023 financial year and a workaround to remove the necessity of putting client's files online would be the perfect outcome. I really don't want to have to source another option for their payrolls

There is no planned deadline extension for Single Touch Payroll v2 for the AccountRight product past the current December deadline. We do recommend transitioning to Single Touch Payroll v2 as soon as possible ahead of 1st January 2023.
