Superannuation Glitch

Hello ,

MYOB has a glitch and I can’t do the super. I have restarted 3 times

After pressing record another window should pop up to ‘authorise’ and ask for my details to send me a code. That ‘authorise’ window is not popping up.

Can someone please assist?

  • Hi,

This is not a  solution......it is taking the information from the payroll card file. If i create a second card file it will clogg our payroll system with duplicates - this is not do-able .

We require a salespersons name on the invoice to indicate who made the sale. The phone number does not appear on the invoice but it does appear on the drop down when selecting the name  for all other staff to see - this is a breach of Privacy.

How to we include a sales reps name on an invoice that is not associated with their payroll file???

      Hi Amy_Bam,

Right now, there's no way to change this in the system. It would be a good idea to post this as a product enhancement suggestion on the Ideas Exchange board so other users can vote on it.

Feel free to post again if you need any other help.

      Thanks,
      Genreve

    Hey Amy_Bam,

You can check the settings of the browser you're using to ensure that pop-ups are not blocked. Just go to settings of your browser and look for Privacy and security and ensure that pop-ups are allowed for the MYOB site.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

    • Hi Doreen,

We have discovered the issue. Last month i called as there is a breach of our employees privacy in the invoicing system

where their personal phone numbers are being displayed from the drop down list when selecting a salesperson to allocate the invoice to. I have attached a screen shot of the issue.

The person i spoke to at your office said the only way to remove their personal phone numbers from display in this list was to remove them from the employees card file - which we did.

This is now causing the Superannuation to come up with an error for missing Data.  In order to get around this as a quick fix i  have again had to go into each employees card files and add 0000 000 000 in for the phone numbers.

This is something that MYOB needs to address and fix as we cannot have our employees personal numbers on display for everyone in the office to see and we also cannot have 0000 000 000 for the super.

        Hi Amy_Bam,

To ensure that the salesperson's phone number does not appear on invoices, you have two options. First, you can create a separate card file specifically for the salesperson and use this card when adding a salesperson to an invoice. This way, the phone number associated with the original card file won't be displayed. Alternatively, you can use a customised template and remove the salesperson field from the invoice. Go to 'Setup' > 'Customise Forms' > 'Invoices'. Select the invoice form you are using and click 'Customise'. After making these changes, create a test invoice to confirm that the salesperson's phone number no longer appears. By following either of these methods, you can prevent the salesperson's phone number from showing up on invoices.

        Best regards,

        Doreen
