Superannuation on Public Holiday rate not calculating correctly as part of the Gross Wage

It has come to my attention that the Superannuation Guarantee does not calculate on Public Holiday wage items.  Our employees are casual, however the Public Holiday forms part of their working week therefore Superannuation is payment for the Public Holiday. I cannot see why this is not calculating correctly. I have selected minimum rate required 11.5% gross wages. Where else do I look to see why its not adding the Public Holiday rates to the gross rates.

  • Hey Barronfalls,

Since the Public Holiday wage item isn't included in the Superannuation calculation, it's a good idea to check if it's been exempted from accruing Super. For more details, you can refer to this link.
