SUPERANNUATION NOT CALCULATING EACH PAY

ACCOUNTRIGHT ONLINE - 2022.4.24.6510V

Since the last update each time I do a payrun for a 1 longstanding employee, the Super Guarantee does not automatically generate based on the gross wage and I have to manually enter the amount.  The other staff super are being calculated correctly.

Employee card shows all the requirements to calculate Super are correct.

Please advise how this can be corrected.

  • Hi Ilda49,

    Thank you for your post.

If you were to create a test pay run with the dates as next month (4/7/22 - 10/7/22), does the superannuation then calculate accordingly?

We have not manually adjusted our super at all, was increased to 10.5% by MYOB at 01/07/22, however, our super is still not automatically calculating as it should be.  All employee cards are set up correctly, the SG catagories are set up correctly, so why is this happening?  We have also just moved an employee to permanent status (just prior to EOM) and MYOB is not calculating the leave accruals for that employee, we are having to enter them manually. Very frustrating and annoying that such an expensive programme is always having issues with basic calculations.

I just recorded a dummy pay run for July 2022 and the Super calculates correctly at 10.5% for this employee.

So what is the problem for June 2022?

    Hi Ilda49,

Good to hear it is working for next month.

I have seen this issue occur when an employee's super payment has been manually adjusted within that month - throwing out the calculation for the remainder of the month. For the rest of this month, you will need to manually adjust this, however, next month and onward the system will calculate super automatically again.

If you have any further queries, please let me know.
