Other Income and Other Expense

Hello 

 

I am trying to create a chart of accounts but for other income and other expense I can't set up account type. I click create account, then tick header account account type other income. Next is the parent header select options but when I click the arrow there is no option to chose. Same for expense account.

 

Please advise

    Welcome to the Community Forum!

     

    The issue you're experiencing with setting up account types for "Other Income" and "Other Expense" categories is due to the design of MYOB when a business file is created as an individual (business type).

     

    I've run a script over the file to help you create and have an option to create other income and other expenses. Please just log out and log back in, and you should now be able to create these categories.
