Payroll Setup Easy Assistant ERROR

Hi imogenkojones 

 

I take it you are using MYOB v19.14 19.15 or v19.16 (see Help > About). If yes this is caused by a bug in MYOB, it won't let you load tax tables until you have set a payroll year, however you can't set a payroll year until you load tax tables.

 

Try this. Close MYOB. Make a copy of the company file as a precaution. Change system date to 2019. Run MYOB and open company file - load tax tables. Close MYOB. Change date back. Open MYOB. If forced to Activate before tax tables can be loaded, start by creating a new file, but with system date in 2019. Once tax tables are loaded, change system date back to today.
