Accountright - Accessing Old data

The ATO requires us to keep our data for 5 years. How do people store each year, and how can I access my data in 5 years time for this financial year.

    Hi discoverybay 

     

    Most users keep backups. As a minimum you should create a backup just before you Close the Financial Year and give the backup a clear name like Final backup FY 2021, so if you need to access, you will know which backup to restore. Restore to your Library (not online) - again giving the file a clear name to avoid mixing up your files.
