Hi, I have 3 different companies I do BAS for.Today, for some unknown reason, program keeps freezing (not responding) when I am in BAS.It's happened on all 3 companies each time i am in bas area.Apart from that all companies run fine, it only freezes when i am in bas area.Is this a glitch from the last update, is anyone else having this problem.The only fix i worked out was to cross that screen then go straight back into bas and it works but only for 1 thing at a time. If I want to print the transaction then go to print the bas schedule that's when it freezes. If anyone can shed some light it would be much appreciated.Thanks.

Hi Princess Thank you for your response however you seem to forget that those of us who are advising of this issue are finance people not IT. MYOB keeps providing advice on ways we can fix our problem which include changing or deleting files and programs (so far none have worked - most I don't even know where to find), when really you should be fixing MYOB so we don't need to be doing our own repairs or putting up with issues that are not fixed or improved.

Hi Princess, Thank you for replying to the message, but this issue has been continuing for a long time and each time it is brought up, it seems like it is the first time MYOB have experienced the issue.It is very annoying and time consuming when trying to do multiple BAS's.Thank you again for your time.Joe

It's super frustrating when doing BAS's for multiple companies and as I've experienced this on my work PC and my laptop at home, there's definitely a glitch in MYOB that's causing this. Please fix it MYOB.

Hi all, this issue with the freezing of the MYOB BASlink is becoming very frustrating and as mentioned before this is not a new issue but a recurring issue. BASlink works right up to the time you hit the print button, then it goes into not responding after the document has printed and returns to the home page. I do some 21 lodgments a month and am losing patience with this issue. Can anyone advise if this issue happens on other platforms that might be an option if MYOB don't address this urgently.   I totally understand how frustrating the recurring issue with MYOB BASlink freezing can be, especially when it impacts your workflow significantly. This issue has been noted before, and one effective solution is to delete the BASlink setup files and recreate them. Additionally, you should delete the baslink.txt location.

    I'd like to try those fixes Princess_R. So in Documents-MYOB-AccountRight-BASLink, do I delete the entire Setup folder or just the contents? And did you mean delete the BASLink.txt location or just the BASLink.txt file? If I delete the location, that will take with it the entire Data folder as well as the Setup folder.

Just letting you know I tried clearing the cache and it made no difference. And it's not a problem with AccountRight per se, it's ONLY in the Baslink program. The Timeout Extender is for AccountRight but that's not the program that's freezing - its HUX_MYOB BASlink that's freezing.

  I also tried the trouble shooting tips and it did not fix the problem. I can process the BAS and then print. Once I print, the BAS freezes. I cannot do anything with it except force a shut down.
  
  Now it is time for MYOB to look at how they can resolve the issue.

  JSawyeryou're correct - AccountRight isn't freezing it's only the BASlink program. Would be helpful if MYOB could do a Team Viewer session with one of us to see it

Hi all
Over the last 2 months I have had freezing issues with my BAS.
When I print, the system prints but then it freezes and the circle spins. I need to force it to shut down. I have to re-run the report to back up and Save it.

Im also experiencing an issue during the last couple of months with the BASlink via Accountright not working, I get an error saying "sorry there has been an unexpected error" which does not allow me to continue. Upon further investigation it seems that Kaspersky internet protection software is now not compatible with MYOB.
As an unwanted work around, prepare your BAS or IAS manually and then pause the protection to complete the online reporting!!!
Something must have triggered this issue in a update, can this be fixed please?
