How to set the price of the product excluding GST

Hi Bertha0628,

 

When you record a sales transaction in MYOB, the system will automatically calculate and add the GST to the base selling price of the item, ensuring that the total amount includes GST. If you prefer to set the price of a product excluding GST, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Inventory command centre and click on Items List
  • Select the item for which you want to set the price excluding GST
  • In the Selling Details tab, deselect the "Prices are Tax Inclusive"
