Retaining Previous Years when Rolling over to a new financial year

We have updated to the online Version of MYOB Accounting recently.  We are now ready to rollover the last financial year.  In the old standalone version V19, one of the screens during the rollover process was asking whether you wanted to retain previous years of history.  So sales/purchase data was available for however many years you selected.  I notice this question is not asked in the rollover procedure now.  How much past data will be retained when I rollover?  I couldn't get any clear answers from chatting online.

Smart move making sure your ducks are in a row before rolling over! Don't worry, rolling over to the new financial year won't delete a thing. The software used to ask if you wanted to clear out old data, but that feature is no longer available, everything is saved automatically now. All your history stays in this exact same file, so you can still run old reports or make edits to previous years whenever you need to (unless you've set a lock date).
