Reports: Total hours allocated to job

We have recently changed to MYOB payroll and use your timesheets not time billing for entering and processing pays.   Your customer support have advised there is currently no report available in your Payroll reporting, that is able to generate a total number of hours for individual or all employees per job.   Currently your reporting only provides a cost per job for wages.  We require a report that will provide a total number of hours per payroll category i.e. Base hours, overtime for a given employee or all employees for a specified period.

    I would love to see a report that displayed the units (hours) over a given period of time per payroll category rather than gross amount eg how many hours overtime at 1.5x between July and December etc I am sure this would be fairly easy to incorporate in to the report folder. Great when estimating for new projects.

      This would be a great tool for estimators in the building trade. I work for 4 different organisations that said they would welcome this report. Could the report please be generated from payroll not time billing or timesheets?

      I would also like a report showing this information.

      I need to see how many hours have been worked on each specific job rather than a $ figure

      Had a client today wanting this also.
      If possible to track hours spent on a job from timesheets in reports? That would be awesome.

      I beleive having the hours and costing available for anaylsis is important as many of the workers are on different hourly rates, so a true indication of job costs and hours used cannot be worked out, what is the point of entering the job numbers into the system

      Hi!

       

      Is there any work toward this happening?  Surely it's a reasonable easy report to create, and it would definitely help a lot of companies.  One of my clients is currently going through the timesheets to tediously calculate all hours worked on a particular job.  MYOB is so useful for allocated time, expenses, sales etc to particular jobs, but to not have the function to report on the number of hours worked by employees on each job seems a bit ill-advised.  It would certainly be a huge timesaver, and encourage more people to use more of the functions that MYOB provides.  My clients already complain about the price, something like this would help them feel they are getting what they pay for.

    Hi guys,

    My supervisors require a report monthly that shows them the man hours worked per job number. Currently every report i can find only gives me the total dollar figure, not the man hours. We really need the man hours for safety stat's required to be submitted monthly to different customers and right now the only option we have is to manually add these hours up. This is really time consuming. 

    Does anyone know of a report i could use that would give me the man hours per job. All the information is already in MYOB as we use timesheets for payroll and all hours are allocated to the specific job number worked on.

    If this report is not currently possible then can this be something that is considered to be possible in the near future please.

    A Job Cost Report or Job Profit Report is required so gross profit can quickly be determined without third party software or reworking two standard MYOB reports in Excel. when processing lots of jobs this process is combersome. Amalgamating Time billing/Job/Slip Detail and Accounts/Jobs/Job Activity [Detail] into one report will show Invoices issued, time allocated and direct costs expended against a job to determine gros profit.

    I was a long time quickbooks user and am still navigating my way around MYOB at my new job.

    I need a report that tells me how many hours were spent on each job also.

    IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR JOB COSTING PURPOSES IF THE FOLLOWING REPORTS COULD SHOW THE REQUIRED INFORMATION:

     

    PAYROLL CATEGORY TRANSACTIONS - COULD SHOW HRS WORKED AGAINST DOLLLAR AMOUNT FOR EACH CATEGORY, AS THIS REPORT ALREADY FILTERS BY JOB.

     

    PAYROLL CATEGORY SUMMARY REPORT - ALL THE REQUIRED INFORMATION ON THIS REPORT APART FROM THE ABILITY TO FILTER BY JOB.
