Increase character limit for item names

I'd also like to see the character limit increased from 256 Characters in the item description field.

Oh gosh, the limitation is killing especially for us Service line we need to include as details as we could in the quote & invoice. use to no issue with this in Xero but after swap to MYOB all this is killing me!!! increase it please.... considering service line needs

Really need to be able to either include the item description in the item list, this isnt an option to select this cell, I have been unable to do with custom lists as they have character limits also.
