On Hold

Move the 'Delete' button in the IN Tray

In the "In Tray" the 'Delete' button is next to the 'Enlarge' button.  (Desktop version.)

It is too easy to press the Delete button by mistake, and there is no way to recover the deleted document.

The Delete button should be well away from the other commonly used buttons, so as to minimise the chance of pressing it accidentally.

It would also be better if the deleted documents could be recovered within some period of time 9even if just till you log out of the client).

We are changing this idea's status to On Hold due to low community engagement (comments and votes) over the last six months. The idea remains in our developer backlog, but it will be prioritised for review if it receives more votes.

I am disgusted by this attitude from MYOB.

The idea I put forward is a good one – pure and simple.

(Who goes looking on your website regularly to upvote ideas?  I certainly don’t.)

The ‘delete’ button should be in its own spot, well away from other buttons.

It is very easy to mistakenly click on the wrong button and delete an invoice that has been sent electronically from a supplier - I might not even know who the invoice was from (if I haven’t looked at it before accidentally deleting it).

If there is a way to recover the deleted invoices, I have not been able to find the instructions on how to do so.

Please reconsider putting this idea on the backburner.
