Sending Update Event to ATO Creates Zero Payslip To Be Emailed to Employee

When I click on "Send update event" to the ATO through the Payroll Reporting Centre, it creates a zero payslip for every employee, including employees who have ended their employment in the current Payroll Year. 

 

The problem is that MYOB creates the Zero Payslip with a 'To be emailed' or a 'To be printed' flag.

 

I then have to click into every pay slip and change it to Already Emailed or Printed.

 

This is labour intensive and unnecessary.  Really a WHS issue.

 

If MYOB need to create a zero payslip to send an update even, program it to mark the payslip as Already Printed and Emailed.

    This is ridiculous that myob can't fix this.   This has happened to me 3 years in a row now.   Surely your programmers can fix this, if not you need new programmers.

    And then it'll be closed due to lack of interest, then re-opened NEXT financial year when there's renewed interest. Please just get it fixed already and stop this cycle.

    Totally agree, this has been going on for 3 years now, if their programmers can't fix this then they need new programmers.

    HI, 

     

     

    I have no idea why this is being changed to an ON HOLD, not every user logs in here to see that this idea has to be voted on for it to be actioned. It is poor form when you needed to vote for MYOB to do something which is critical. I spoke to an agent about this issue over two years ago. He was going to come back to me then because he thought there was a glitch in the system...... still waiting

     

    This payroll year I have amended the year end submission 4 times and now I have generated blank payslips 1440, which the only way to clear is by either sending them out to all staff or edit and change each payslip.

    Oh Sppokle - that is horrific.  My worst nightmare right there.
