We are a micro family business and long time MYOB user. I have enjoyed the ride, changing and learning along the way and finding better ways to manage our admin duties and obligations.
We do not have the fat available nor the capacity to increase our fee's to absorb the upcoming changes to the fees and charges for online payment facility offered via MYOB. I understand this is a decision taken by the RBA and not MYOB.
I do send email and SMS notifications when sending out invoices. Doing both seems to work. From experience the generation and sending of emails with attached invoice can and does get blocked by internet security used by ISP and clients own computers. Sending an SMS at the same time acts as an alert.
SMS invoice notification is attached to online payments and not available if the payment facility is turned off.
Is/when will MYOB considering making SMS notifications a stand alone feature without the need to have online payments active???
