Ability to export everything

MYOB cloud-based solutions badly needs the option for us users to export our data.

This includes (but not limited to) all PDF attachments, invoices, contacts etc - along side the reports and other minor things that can be exported now.

 

This is not necessarily so that we can do a runner and migrate to another accounting platform, but its absolutely critical when changing business structure (eg. from a sole trader to a Pty Ltd company) and starting with a fresh set of books for the new structure.

 

I'm in a position where I'm having to spend hours manually saving everything so that I can cancel my original subscription and start fresh with the new MYOB subscription under the new entity.

 

We need to legally be able to hold this data for many years in case we are audited by the ATO.

 

Please add this functionality ASAP. I can see old posts where people have asked for this 5 years ago, but nothing has been done. It's not good enough.

    Hi Jeff_AccAddons​ and Mike_James​ Thanks both for your responses, however I'm not looking for a paid solution. I'm looking for MYOB to add a big fat "Download everything" button.

     

    After putting in a request with support, I was able to get a download of all my attachments, and so far I've exported as many reports as I can, this is still less than ideal but I'm going to have to make do with it. I'll refer to my accountant (tax not yet done for 24-25, but will be shortly) to ensure I have extracted enough data to be legally compliant.

     

    The whole purpose of this exercise is that it should not be this difficult. It's my data, MYOB should make it as simple as possible for me to keep an offline archive of it in case I ever get audited by the ATO or need to refer back to something once my subscription has been cancelled.

     

    Btw I am bonez_AU, just logged in with the new MYOB account therefore have a new community username.

    Hi all, we can help with bulk extraction of Purchases and Spend Money attachments, but not cards or sales attachments as there are no endpoints for them unfortunately (yet...) - datawise.co.nz.

    I second this request. I've just changed from sole trader to a company. I could migrate some data, the rest has had to be manual entry.

     

    Now how do I keep the old records without paying for an ongoing subscription?  It's our data.
