Recommend to check all your superannuation pay items to ensure the liability account is not linked to paygw withholding account, regardless whether this superannuation pay item is used in the file or not. Hopefully this resolves your problem. Thanks Chris
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your response
Unfortunately this has not resolved my problem. I checked the liability account in my superannuation pay items and they are already linked to superannuation payable.
I may be missing something but if i run a superannuation payable report the amount for the period is quite different to the amount on the dashboard. In fact if i add the super report total to the PAYG withholding amount on the dashboard it equals the superannuation payable total on the dashboard confirming the PAYG duplication.

Maybe check all your linked accounts to ensure the PAYGW withholding is not used except for tax withholding

Hey Wildviking
The PAYG payable figure shown on the dashboard is the balance of the linked payable category set in your tax pay item (Payroll > Pay items > Tax tab > Linked payable category).
If you are experiencing a duplicate, like Chris has mentioned it may be worth double checking your linked accounts to ensure PAYG withholding is not used, except for tax withholding. I've closed the idea for now, however if you continue to experience an issue let us know and we can take a deeper look into it.
