We've closed this idea as it's unlikely we will explore changing our 2FA process. The 24 hours 2FA is a mandatory change set by the ATO. We've made these changes to meet best practice in an increasingly challenging security environment and to further protect your sensitive business data from unauthorised access. This includes complying with the Australian Government's guidelines for system hardening, which require MFA for all users who access sensitive information.
