How to Edit Account set up in Account right
I need to edit the Account Classificaiton and Account type for couple of accounts ( apperantly not set up properly in the past) For example account classificaiton as Income ( should have been other income) - please advise
From memory the Account Classification cannot be altered once the account is created. We'd need to delete the Account and Re-create it with the Classification we wanted.
Given that the Classification is going to be different changing the Type to what it needs to be would have the same problem.
If this is an account that has been used for transactions already and the Classification/Type was Income but needs to be Other Income, you should be able to create the new Other Income account and then use Combine Accounts to move all the previous transactions across and delete the original account.
