Inventory errors

Our system is not recording purchases into inventory.   When we go to sell we have no stock.  when we check how the purchase was entered it is correct (correct product code, purchase etc..)

our bookkeeper has called the help desk and been told our file is too large as we have been a customer for 20 years.  How do we get aroudn this (compress our older documents or delete data from 7 years plus to bring our file size down?)

I have been informed our alternative is to switch to Xero but then I lose all my historical data.   

 

seems ridiculous that there seem to be no solutions for long term clients other than switching to a competitor.  

 

please help.

    MYOB does not have a purge function to remove old transactions - there is a 3rd party solution, however it can be costly - google 'purge for myox'.

     

    The only other option MYOB offers is to start a new, which can be a headache in itself.
