i am setting up some of our staff to enter purchase orders from myob online.
We have a category as a mandatory input so the record can be allocated to certain business functions.
for some reason, this is not available on the MYOB online layout for raising a purchase order and because this is mandatory within our file we cannot raise a purchase order from myob online only from the desktop version of essentials.
What am I doing wrong?

According to a number of forum posts, if you have an online AccountRight file, categories are only available when you access your online file via the desktop application. If you access your AccountRight file via the browser, categories are not available. If categories are required, you will need to access your file via the desktop software.

As per @gavin12345. The category feature is currently only for desktop versions. Rest assured the development team's goal is to make the browser version as close as the desktop version.
