  • Hi MaryAnne30

Looking into the error log you have attached it does appear that the system is encountering an error due to a security setting on your computer.

To prevent those messages from occurring the below steps should be taken:

We strongly recommend speaking to an IT professional in regards to the implications of updating the option

    1. Close AccountRight
    2. Navigate to your Windows Control Panel - typically, through the Windows Start Menu
    3. Choose Administrative Tools
    4. Choose Local Security Policy
    5. Go into the Local Policy>>Security Options
    6. Navigate and select the System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encrypting, hashing and signing.
    7. Select to Disable that option before selecting Apply

Once that option has been disabled, AccountRight should correct generate those windows for you. As stated, this change may affect the local computer's security and thus careful action should be taken by first speaking with an IT person in regards to the impact that can have.
