Spliting Payroll payments into two bank accounts

Hello Everyone,

 

We have an employee who we pay their pay into two seperate accounts and i am trying to work out how to record it properly into MYOB Accountright so it matchs our bank feed.

    Thanks for your post. To split an employee's pay between bank accounts:

     

    1. go to Setup>>Linked accounts>>Payroll accounts and make sure the electronic clearing account is selected in Bank account for electronic payments
    2. in the employee card>>Payment details tab>>select Electronic as the Payment method and enter the bank account details
    3. process the pay run as normal
    4. go to Prepare electronic payments and process the electronic payment: Making electronic payments with a bank file
    5. upload the bank file in internet banking and authorise, your bank will split the amount between the bank accounts
    6. in Bank feeds match the eletronic payment transaction to the bank feed transaction
