I pay contractors as suppliers for their income and employees for their super guarantee amount. Last month one of them wanted Salary Sacrifice for part of her pay. After I processed her super pay as an employee, I noticed in her Payroll Reporting her salary sacrifice super was included in Super Guarantee, not separate category as SSS. I checked with MYOB help line that the way I processed her SGC and SSS in MYOB was correct. When I set up an expense a/c for SSS for this employee in MYOB, the ATO reporting Category is defaulted as Superannuation Guarntee and I can't change. Shouldn't the category be Salary Sacrifice and RESC to reflect it on Payroll Reporting so it will show SGC and SSS separately (even though she is an cotractor)? Please let me know what you think.

We have used MYOB Accountright for many years and are attempting to move to Business online for use of MYOB while away/out of town. One of the necessary tasks needing to occur away from the office would be payroll. The use of Activity categories in MYOB Business payroll would enable a business to charge a client different rates (or not all) for different activities while paying employees their usual rates. This (and the inability to change when a pay week starts) are the only things stopping our business from fully utilising MYOB Business online.

We have used MYOB Accountright for many years and we are currently attemptying to transfer to Business online to make it easier when we are away/out of town. The pay week is not able to be changed to start on another day other than Sundays. The temporary solution suggested is to enter the hours over 2 screens, which means saving in between and moving back and forth between screens. We require the ability to look at the hours for 1 payweek on 1 screen as it is in Accountright. I will need to continue to enter hours in timesheets in Accountright and then complete all other aspectrs in Business online.

Please can MYOB Business give a meaningful descrition for a bill payment matched during a bank feed. Currently, when a bill is matched directly from the bank feed, the description of that transactionis simply the PO number - eg "Payment; 12345", which is meaningless. You see this meaningless description everywhere - in Find Transactions, all Reports, and the Bank Register in Account Right. However if you pay a bill from the Bill window you get a more meaningful description eg - Payment; Telstra. That description is needed for bank feed bill payments as well.

In bank feeds, please can you include the Reference field in the 'allocate' dropdown and allow it to be changed. Currently when allocating bank feeds in a reference number is automatically applied in the background . To see and change this reference number to something meaninful you have to use Find Transactions to search for and open the transaction. this is frustrating and time consuming.

I have a Mac and thus use MYOB Buisness to enter data for my bookkeeping clients, but some of those clients still use Account Right to view their MYOB file. Please can you make them play nicely together. When a file is uploaded to a spend money transaction in MYOB Business, it doesn't appear in that transaction in Account Right. Please can this be rectified. The file uploads to bills on MYOB Buisness however do show up in Account Right, so it can be done.

Hi, in the update installed this week, there is this new feature: https://www.myob.com/au/support/myob-business/payroll/add-an-employee/getting-employees-to-check-their-details Couple of questions: 1. Can we change the default text? I can see that this would be useful since we don't use the self-onboarding. However, and this is a BIG however, the window for us says "ask your employee to check their details" but the example email says "your employer has requested additional information". They are two completely different things, and potentially confusing if we don't actually need any extra information. 2. Can we set the 'provide access to employee benefits' to default to No so we don't accidentally activate it for someone? So many things now we're having to deselect before continuing. These types of questions should always be opt in rather than opt out, or an option to choose a default in the settings. I can't find any settings anywhere in preferences or payroll general information window for self-onboarding.

Hello! There seems to be a few fixes that need doing with MYOB team app. Main one we have is some of our staff cannot submit their hours- they get a message saying unable to submit, please try again later. The only fix for this is to completely shut down the app and start again. What we have found through experimenting, is if you write no notes, then there doesnt seem to be a problem and they submit no worries! So.... is someone able to maybe look into this? We have to use nots as our team may be on multiple sites and use multiple different pieces of machinery- so notes is a must! It would alos be handy if we could have more than 100 characters on notes, nad that when reading them, they all showed up on the MYOB Teams portal- at the moment we have to hover our mouse over the ... to see all the notes, scribble down on paper what it says so we can import it into job spreadsheets! So just a few ideas there on what would make it all more user friendly! Thanks!

Hi MYOB, End users need to be able to edit recurring transactions. There is no option this is a time waster to have to delete it and re-enter it again for a minor change. You can edit recurring transactions in ARL please implement this in MYOB Business.

I have international clients that require AUD be included on my invoices, it would be good to have this option. At the moment I include it as a note but it's not obvious, would look more professional if it could show next to amounts charged.

I am using the PO number on invoices internally to be able to track business costings for quotes. We should have the ability to toggle this off in the template setttings like we do with other fields. I don't want this value to be shown to the customer when they view the invoice. cheers

The customer contact pages are just the contact edit screen with the addition of "invoiced" values in the top right. Include some more valuable information like... Jobs - List of jobs associated to the contact - # of active vs in-active jobs Quotes - # of quotes (via status - Open, Invoiced, Accepted, Declined) - total $ of quotes Invoices - # of invoices - total $ of invoices - total balance due (currently shows) - total balance overdue (currently shows) Im sure there would be other usefull enhancements as well, like then moving edit to be secondary action, display contact details in a card format with an address(map).

We use Employment Hero for payroll and due to MYOB's poor integration - the only option is to export transaction journal from EH to import into MYOB. This worked fine with AccountRight windows application but with MYOB Business Online we have to manually create a journal. This is a big step backward! Can you please add this function as a feature request for the next update of MYOB Business Online?

When I got to purchase and select all suppliers, it only showed what I owed; it did not show if any supplies were in debt. You need to select the status Debit. Why can't this be all on the Open Status? All suppliers means all, including debit balances. Extra time wasted again.

Requesting that we can attach files/forms to contact cards. This would include a certificate of currency, driver's licence, qualification renewals and a lot more, everything in one place. Also, with this, if a renewal is required, we can put in a date, e.g. when a driver's licence expires, we are notified that it is due to expire. Attaching documents to cards was first asked for in 2015.
