Invoice number sequence not incrementing on new invoice

Since the upgrade invoice sequencing is no longer working.

The client has tried creating a new invoice with the new invoice number and saving (as per the help article), but the next invoice created reverts back to the old invoice number.

    Hi Sorp 

     

    I am sorry to hear you are having problems with the automatic invoice numbering.

     

    Invoice numbers are designed to default to the first number available in the 8-character sequence. A way to encourage the software to 'remember' a new sequence, is to manually change the invoice number to start a new pattern.

     

    You may need to manually change it for a few invoices before the software starts to remember the new sequence and automatically pick up for future invoices.
