Creating Leave reasons on team

Hi

 

My employees unable to create leave using MYOB Teams. It is asking for reasons for leave. It says the administrator should create the reasons. I was trying to do it as an adminstrator but I could not see any where how I can create this. Please help. Thanks

As an administrator how do I create the reasons for leave for the employees to select. I could not see any place to do this unless I am missing something. Thanks

Hi @gnatara1,

 

You'll need to make sure that the employee has been assigned the leave entitlement to their employee card, or else the reason will not appear. 

 

For example, if the employee is taking sick leave (and is entitled to this leave), you'll need to assign it to their employee card. 

 

If you have assigned all the relevant leave entitlements to the employee card, the employee will enter leave through their MYOB Team app following the below steps:

 

  1. From the home screen, tap Apply for leave. You'll see all existing leave requests on the Leave screen.
  2. Tap ‘+’ to create a new leave request.
  3. Tap Leave reason and choose the type of leave you're requesting.

Hi @gnatara1 

 

Thanks for your post.

 

If your employees can't create a leave request to MYOB Team app, kindly check their card file if the leave that they are trying to create is linked to their card. Once checked and able to confirm that employees are entitled to the leave, advise the employee to uninstall then reinstall the application. Also, you may check The Help Article Using the MYOB Team mobile app for further information.
