Holiday Pay for accountant at end of year

Hi there, 

My other payroll system had a function where I could easily do a report for my accountant to advise how much leave $$ outstading on a speicfic date.  This is a requirement for our end of Year Accounts in NZ, I cannot see a report to be able to do this? As it is a legal requirement (need a report for the 31 March and the 2nd Jun) where can I get this information?

Hi @Corinne1 

For MYOB Payroll you will need to restore the backup from 31/3/22 (or closest to it) to get the Leave accruals report. Take a current backup first, then restore this current backup over the top to get back to the current information.

Thanks could you please advise how to do a restore in MYOB Essentials payroll and which report, I dont see an option for leave accruals report only leave.

Sorry - I didn't see Essentials in your previous email. Its a bit different in Essentials - choose the Leave reports and choose a date range within that report.

Okay that gives me the leave taken however how do I find out leave owing at the 31/3?

You would need to look at the Leave report for that person (summary or detail report) and choose the date range up to 31/3/22
