Why hasn't this issue been resolved yet. Every year I need to create a group of new rules for the change in how the company or person submits their payment. So much time is wasted when a tick box to the side could mean it is all done so quickly. If you accidentally click on one and it is deleted it is not that big a deal to recreate. Come on MYOB. You spent how much time changing the way the bill looks, perhaps better spent would have been providing better services. Re: Payroll miscalculations Hi Thanks. After a lengthy conversation with a MYOB person the only solution to ensure it was reliable ongoing was to change each employees standard pay in the employee file to 0. That seems to be working but I will be doing a few calculation checks until I am confident it has been worked out permanently. It seems to be an issue that MYOB are trying to work out but employers will have to keep an eye on it for a while at least. Payroll miscalculations When doing payroll the correct hourly rate is showing up initially but the calculated total is incorrect and is using a different hourly rate which doesn't show up until it is up to the PDF stage ready to send out to staff. I am told that Firefox is the issue but it has come up in Chrome as well. I now have to calculate each pay to ensure it is correct. In the mean time trying to adjust mistakes from previous pays both up and down. Anyone else having this issue? SolvedPayroll error Hi When doing a recent payroll I did not notice that one employee had his hourly rate increased to over double the amount. Because this had a combination of reduced hours and personal leave, I didn't pay attention to the increase and paid it. It doesn't seem like it will be doing it for the next payroll and not sure how it came about for this one. How can I redo his pay and reconcile with bank statements. anyone know the cause of this random change as I havent done anything in this profile to change it. Re: Payroll payslips My MYOB does not seem to have a Payroll Advice report and there is no description on how to navigate to it that I can see in your link. I do seem to have a payroll register report but this only shows each persons pay and deductions as a summary of the staff as a whole. Is there a way to get a copy of my employees actual payslips without have to copy each persons individual as a record of what level they were being paid at, at that time the way I used to get, as an automated email sent to me which I could then save on my computer since MYOB does not maintain past payslips as a set pdf to the payment at that time. Payroll payslips It would be appreciated if we could go back to sending the person doing payroll a copy of the staffs payslips as one document when they have completed doing the payroll. Currently there is no integrity on past payslips as when bringing up past ones, current information is installed and can conflict with the persons pay and position at that time. Not sure why this was removed as a feature but now payslips have to be saved individually which is time consuming and should be unnecessary. Alternatively perhaps past payslips could be saved as a secure pdf so that it is a permanent document. thanks Saving Payslips I used to received all the payslips into the one PDF which I could save. Then that stopped happening and I have recently discovered that when I go to a payslip from the past it generates one that includes the latest info of the employee instead of the original content. I dont see that I should have to save every payslip individually. I saw a similar post with an answer directing to a link that is no longer available. I thought having this program was a way to minimise alternate storage. I used to get a pdf of all the staff after completing the payroll now it seems I have to go to each person individually. Do you know if there is a way to get it reset to sending that to me again? Pay slips integrity I need to go back and check on past payslips of an employee to compare wage levels. When I look at past pays they now have the employee's new rate and position at the top of the payslip. How can I see what the original one was and is there a way to protect pdfs from changing so that any legal issues can be resolved.
