Payroll miscalculations

When doing payroll the correct hourly rate is showing up initially but the calculated total is incorrect and is using a different hourly rate which doesn't show up until it is up to the PDF stage ready to send out to staff. I am told that Firefox is the issue but it has come up in Chrome as well. I now have to calculate each pay to ensure it is correct. In the mean time trying to adjust mistakes from previous pays both up and down. Anyone else having this issue?

    Hi

Thanks. After a lengthy conversation with a MYOB person the only solution to ensure it was reliable ongoing was to change each employees standard pay in the employee file to 0. That seems to be working but I will be doing a few calculation checks until I am confident it has been worked out permanently. It seems to be an issue that MYOB are trying to work out but employers will have to keep an eye on it for a while at least.

    Hi Lamica

Totally get how off-putting it is when the totals don’t match. We’ve logged this with our dev team, and I’ve added you to the list of affected users, so you’ll get an update when it’s sorted. For now, the quickest fix is to manually adjust the amount so the pay comes out right.
