Now I do understand that not everything is going to be perfect 100% of the time but MYOB really needs to reconsider the offshore customer support arrangement. I have an outstanding issue dating back since the 9th of March that has not even received a single response. This is in spite of the highlighted notice that flashes up saying that I will receive priority support. Now this is not just a slag directed at you but it should serve as constructive commentary rather then just pointless cavilling, however, I am apprehensive that articulating my concerns will once again be met with indifference, rather than yielding the more desirable outcome. Payroll reporting not working Was preparing wages and the pop-up window for the declaration is showing the url (https://cdn-stp.payroll.prod.myob.com) can not be reached... No systems are showing as down on the web. Is anyone else having this same issue? Yes, I have cleared the cache. Original software Accounting Plus/Premier Pro I have been given a number of different conflicting answers to this question via OS call centre support personnel, so I thought here may be a better place to ask the question. I started using MYOB around 2004/2005. I still have the original software that I purchased. I understand that MYOB may no longer support the software but if I choose to use it, what chance is there of the data file being able to be read by the software, I would suggest very little chance. So in order to use the software, the datafile would need to be started again from scratch or at the very least imported manually. Correct? Apart from this and other obvious lack of features (single touch, etc). There is nothing stopping a person from using that software with the licence key that was purchased outright, correct? Landscape Invoice being sent from within MYOB's managed payment platform displaying incorrectly (SOLVED)well kind of but not really I know there are a few users that have this same issue and thought this may help. It was first raised with MYOB support close to 3 years ago, after being passed on to almost every single department within MYOB and outsourced to overseas call centres (whom are really really bad at generating and keeping records but really really good at telling you that someone will be in contact with you tomorrow, I'm still waiting....) This issue has left everyone scratching their heads but I can confirm there is a solution to solve this problem (well not really, but its the closest thing anyone is going to get). Drum roll........ Create a new template in portrait..... That's it. After 2-3 years of rolling around looking for cause and effect this is the response. Hardly a solution but I can guarantee, all roads lead to this point. I did resist to start off with but do yourself a favour and just redo a new template in portrait and be done with it. It will save you so much time consumed with support that you could better utilise elsewhere. Just accept it and move on because its too hard for anyone to work out why and no one else cares the way you do. You are probably due for an invoice overhaul anyway right? Good luck friends. Re: Information about software processes running when MYOB is closed It would also appear that Windows 11 interface is a fair bit different from windows 10. There is no apps and features after right clicking on the start menu and no link to uninstall any API. Re: Information about software processes running when MYOB is closed Gday, thankyou for your reply. Very knowledgeable, actions required are noted. Are you able to provide instruction on how to make the API connector and it's offsider only be called or executed as a process only when the MYOB software is run and not before? Information about software processes running when MYOB is closed I have known this for a while but now the curiosity has got the better of me. That and the fact that I try to keep a clean file system to help limit the ever-infringing tax on computer resources like CPU, Memory, disk space, etc. Why is it that even with the startup apps switched to disabled or off and without even opening the MYOB software there are at least 6-10 processors running. Is this necessary? Can I kill the processes and more importantly, you will note that some of the processors are from previous versions that no longer on my laptop. even with 32g of RAM they are starting to chew in to the performance of the machine. See attached image of background processors running straight after the computer is switched on. Please advise a course of action or advice to safely remove unnecessary processes.
