They are not geared nearly as well as all the other banks I deal with, for sure. Cheers. Setting Up Bank Feed for client My client does not use MYOB at all. I run Accountright for his business, and had BNZ bank feeds until the end of August. When I tried the conversion, it never showed the process, as did my other BNZ clients. I put it aside until now - I have reached out to MYOB re the problem over 2 weeks ago, no reply. My question is, when I now go to set up a new bank feed, I go to the BNZ choice, then it wants my clients bank log in and password, which of course I do not have. He lives very remotely out in a country block. How does one resolve this issue as it says paper submissions are no longer accepted. Thanks for any assistance. Re: Employee Pay accidentally deleted Hi Doreen, Many thanks for your interest. I am not fully understanding about correcting the MYOB side as you indicate. My client had already sent the file, so I am not sure when you say I can record the pay for that period the usual way. I do understand the rest... I think..!! Sorry for the delay, a unexpected short trip to hospital interupted work flow. Thanks again, Katie Employee Pay accidentally deleted MYOB PAYROLL ONLY - NZ - My client did her payroll, and filed it to the IRD. The she realised an employee was incorrectly paid by quite a lot. She went back into the pay run that had been filed, and deleted the employees incorrect payslip information. I know I can fix the information at the IRD for her. But how do I now correct the pay period in MYOB Payroll. I could not quite understand the suggestions, particularly when one said to us the "Reverse" feature - I could not find any way to reverse. If it is reversed, how does it get processed again. Many thanks for any assistance. Cheers, Katie AMEND FILED TAX RETURN NZ Accountants Office, Tax return filing. How do I amend a filed tax return in MYOB Practice. I know it can be done direct in MYIR, but then the MYOB does not show the correct details. Thank you. New today - 2 FA log-ins This is a ridiculous situation for sole practitioner bookkeepers/accountants, working in their home office or such like. This morning I started the time clock in my MYOB desktop version, typed up what I was doing, and then 4 hours later I wanted to go in and stop the clock. Yep, I logged in to a message that said the programmed had timed out. The time entry was not saved, access to the program completley denied. Useless. Then I have 3 MYOB desktop accounts open for the 3 entities one my client's has, and I need to check across the 3 entities for certain entries.... Yep, they time out, so I am now spending ages per day logging back in. Surely one can have a choice for their individual situation, as to the level of log in security the choose. This is so counter productive and annoying to say the least. Re: Accountright Desktop Login Change Thank you, I guessed it was for that reason. I sometimes have 3 copies open for the various entities of one client. What I will do now is open 3 clients first thing in the morning, and I have found I can go to "File>Open" and select the next client from the list without the log in process. The new systems give you a quicker processing factor, then it is all wiped out with these other processes now. Surely for partners, bookkeepers some log in process to cover all their clients can be set up. Keep praying..! Accountright Desktop Login Change I use Accountrigh DESKTOP online with all of my clients appearing in a "Company Files Online" list. Each morning I used to log in and work to each of my clients as necessary. That one login would last for 12 hours. And every now and then the authenticator. A few days ago, for every client I have on the list, I now have to type in my email address, and then the password again, making it a tedious task to go through a number of clients I update every morning. I rarely use the cloud version, as desktop is quicker for my purposes. Is there any reason for the frustrating change. Thanks,
