Re: my.myob is being retired – manage everything in My Account
Hi Not too sure where to post this. I certainly do not have any issues with the myaccount.myob.com.au (except one). As an accounting practice that has some 500 MYOB connected ledger / business files moving billing from my.myob is a significant improvement. My issue is the "Manage Subscription" page of the site. This page holds a maximum of 15 subscriptions with no option to increase the size of the list. Therefore, I have up to 33 pages to navigate when managing subscriptions. The biggest issue is that the list is hard wired to sort by some unknown category, that is I have no idea how they are sorted. There is NO OPTION to sort by account name or global search to narrow the list. To find the subscription I am after I have to start at the beginning and move through all the subscriptions page by page to find the one I am looking for. The UI is baffling and very time communing to navigate. With so many files I am in this area a lot, please add some functionality to improve navigation. Unfortunately, this has made finding and working with transactions no easier. MYOB has missed out on developing a truly helpful find transaction screen. Two fundamental features are missing here and applies when looking at all transactions for a specific account, 1. A split between debits and credits (two columns) to make viewing the transactions easier and 2. Displaying the account opening balance, movement in debits and credits and the closing balance for the date range selected. ARL has it right here, the find transaction screen is brilliant. This cannot be hard to implement as the developers that originally developed the reporting system in Business wired this into the enquiry screen when drilling into accounts from various reports. We surely do not have to run a report to get this functionality. It is absolutely maddening that I still need to go back to ARL, if it is available for the ledger in question to do my transaction problem solving.29Views0likes0CommentsBudget Preparation - Tab Key Does Not Work in Data entry
Hi The title says it all. Some time ago, probably 12 months or longer, the tab key stopped working in data entry. Prior to it breaking you could tab through the data entry cells. That is, enter a number in a budget field and tab to the next field. This has to be a bug as no one could possibly think that it would be a good idea to only allow the mouse to move from one cell to another. This needs to be fixed, what should be a relatively quick process has turned into a very time-consuming exercise. Hi Alplasco This is only in relation to the old New Zealand only MYOB Payroll (which is a desktop only package). Up to now I had never even heard of this product, most likely as I am in Australia. Thought I would install the latest release just to see what it is like. It has an interface similar to MYOB Accounting circa Version 8. Hi Trying to download the server edition released yesterday 2025.11. When clicking on the download link on the web page all I get is this. This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <Error> <Code>AccessDenied</Code> <Message>Access Denied</Message> </Error> I can download the previous version just not the current one.
