Hi there, The new Payday Super legislation will require employers to pay Superannuation Guarantee (SG) contributions at the same time as salary and wages from 1 July 2026. Contributions must reach an employee’s super fund within seven business days of payday. The good news: if you’re using MYOB Pay Super with your payroll, you’re already set. Pay Super lets you make super payments directly from MYOB as often as you like (including each pay run), so you can meet the payday super timing without changing your current process. It’s included with your MYOB subscription and is compliant with ATO SuperStream requirements. What you need to do Keep processing your pays in MYOB as usual. If you’re already paying super via Pay Super with each pay run, you’re all set. If you currently pay super quarterly, you’ll simply need to start paying it alongside your pay runs — and you’ll automatically meet the new timing requirements when Payday Super begins. Not using Pay Super? Turn on Pay Super Go to the Payroll command centre and click Pay Superannuation if you're using AccountRight desktop. MYOB Business or browser users can head to the Payroll menu and select Super Payments. Click Sign up and follow the prompts. We’ll verify your bank account with a 1 cent deposit and an SMS code for secure authorisation. Assign your Pay Super payment authoriser(s) so approvals are in place before your first payment. Process payroll as usual and use MYOB to pay super each pay run, and meet the Payday Super timing from 1 July 2026. Learn more If you’d like to double-check your Pay Super setup or payment authorisers, you can review your settings any time in MYOB. To learn more about Payday Super, read our guide. If you have questions about Payday super or Pay Super, you can find answers or ask your questions here in the community forum. Hi everyone, We’re introducing an important security update to your MYOB login. Data security is our top priority. To add an additional layer of security and help protect your account, we’ll soon require SMS to be set up as one of your 2FA methods. Having SMS as a 2FA method will be mandatory for all customers who use MYOB Business and Connected Ledger software*. We are communicating this change to our customers in smaller groups. The first group will be receiving an email and in product message on the 18 th of August and will then have 30 days to set up SMS as a 2FA method. *Remaining customers on other software will be included soon, but can absolutely still take these steps to set up SMS 2FA now. What do I need to do? For a smooth login experience, please ensure you have an up-to-date mobile number on your account and have SMS selected as an authentication method. You don’t need to wait for the email and in product message, you can get this set up now! Follow the instructions below. How to enable SMS two-factor authentication Log into My Account at https://myaccount.myob.com Click your username in the top-right corner and choose Account security. Under Authentication, click the Add (>) button next to SMS and follow the instructions. Customers in Australia can find more detailed instructions here. Customers in New Zealand can find more detailed instructions here. Want more info? Here are some frequently asked questions. How does SMS 2FA work? Enabling SMS 2FA lets us send a one-time code to your mobile phone via text message when you log in. This extra step helps keep your account secure by making sure it’s really you trying to sign in, even if someone else knows your password. Already have SMS 2FA? We recommend setting up an additional method like an Authenticator app. That way, if you lose access to your main 2FA method, you can still log in without needing to contact MYOB. Learn more about logging in and two-factor authentication. What happens if you don’t set up SMS 2FA by the due date? To keep your account secure, we strongly encourage you to set up SMS two-factor authentication (2FA) now. It should only take a couple of minutes. If it’s not set up before the due date for your cohort, your account will be locked and you won’t be able to access your files until SMS 2FA has been enabled.2.6KViews2likes91CommentsCommunity shout outs - Quarter 3, 2025

*Update on billing changes *24/11/25 We have recently reviewed customer feedback and acknowledge that receiving invoices as PDF attachments is still the most convenient format for many of our clients. To better support that preference, we will continue providing PDF invoices via email. Original post: 24/10/25 We’re giving your bill a refresh to make it clearer and easier to read. Throughout December and January, we’ll be rolling out the new look bill to all customers. What does this mean for you? One bill, one view – All charges related to your account will appear on a single, consolidated bill. Clearer itemisation – See exactly what products you’re billed for, what usage charges apply, and the billing periods they cover. Accessing your bill Each month, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know your bill is ready. You can access and download your bill directly from My Account. You will no longer be emailed a PDF invoice. Update 24/11 - PDF will still be sent You can check out a preview of the new look here.4.8KViews0likes72CommentsHelp shape the new Find transactions experience

Hi everyone, We’re making a small change to help streamline the way new employees are set up in MYOB Business Payroll. From today, Employee Self Onboarding (ESO) will be automatically turned on by default for all MYOB Business Payroll (AU) customers — including those managed by partners. ESO is already available, and this change ensures customers get the fastest and most accurate onboarding experience without needing to switch it on themselves. What this means for you When you add a new employee, MYOB will automatically send them a secure link to enter their onboarding details. Once you approve the information, it flows straight into payroll. This default setting helps: Save time Reduce manual data entry Minimise common errors Improve accuracy for first pay Create a smoother experience for new employees You’re still in control If you’d prefer MYOB to ask each time before sending the onboarding link, you can update your ESO preference in Payroll Settings at any time. Recommended: We suggest keeping Automatic On for the best and fastest onboarding experience. You’ll also see this update communicated in-product.
