Exporting Payment files in CSV, not ABA format

Good Afternoon,

All our electronic payment files from MYOB default to the ABA format for uploading into the bank. However Westpac are changing their systems from 1st October and are now saying we can only upload CSV files. Does MYOB offer this format for outgoing payments to staff and suppliers? How I change this?

Many Thanks

    Hi REAgent9,

Currently, MYOB is designed to export electronic payment files in the ABA format, which is commonly used by many banks in Australia. However, I get that Westpac will only accept CSV files starting from October 1st.

You could consider manually converting the ABA file to CSV, but this can be tricky and error-prone. It's also crucial to reach out to Westpac to obtain specific info on the file format and requirements they have for electronic payments.

In the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else I can help you with.

    Cheers,

    princess
