Can't print reports to Excel

Hi ruthmcgormanman , whilst it's only a change of version, I wonder if AccountRight may be unable to open the template - "error at CreateXls(String fileName)".

Can you check that the files in the template location (listed here) exist?

The help page lists the templates for each report, so you can find the template for your report. 

If that's OK a moderator may need to comment further.

That's a different error, for which the solution is usually to do a quick repair of Office, in Windows 10 via Add/Remove programs. Then close AccountRightg and restart.

If still not working, reinstall AccountRight and have another go. 

Yes, the template was located in the folder as directed. I ended up closing MYOB, signing out of my session and signing back in. Once that was done, the report could be exported to Excel. It's working as expected now.

I've got the same problem - exporting to Excel has stopped working since upgrading to 2023.1.

Can you find and attach your diagnostic logs to a reply?

Attempt the Excel export, then search for the latest log file and attach that here.

Mike my error is.

Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ApplicationClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application'.

I've tried uninstalling MYOB and everything else I can possibly think.  Still unable to to convert myob reports to excel.  This has only happened in the last week.  Can someone please help as I need to produce these reports
