Hi BronJay2025,
Trying to run two separate businesses with different ABNs in a single file is a bit unusual in AccountRight, because it’s designed for one ABN per company file.
With AccountRight, each ABN needs its own company file, so you can’t run two separate ABNs in one file. You’ll want to create a second company file for the new business. You can create the extra file using the New Company File Assistant: https://www.myob.com/au/support/myob-business/get-started/welcome-to-myob-business/create-a-company-file

Hi BronJay2025,
Sorry if I worded my previous response a bit unclear. Just to clarify: you can create a second company file for the new ABN, but each online company file needs its own subscription (except AccountRight Premier, which includes up to two online files under one subscription).
Cheers,
Genreve

Hi Genreve -thank you for this information. So just to confirm if we have an AccountRight file we can create another file for the new entity (with separate ABN) with no extra cost to our monthly subscription?

Thankyou Genreve - yes we have Accountright Premier - so we're all good to go! Thanks for the response :)
