Email address is no longer active

Hello,  the email address used to log in to myob is no longer active.  The company stopped trading over a year ago, but I need access to the file to update financial information. If I try to sign in with the original email address the verification code will be sent to that email account but it doesn't exist now and I can't retrieve the code.  The subscription is still active as a monthly bill is issued from MYOB. Can I somehow change the linked email address if I can't access the file?? Thanks

    Hi roscov,

     

    Since your old email is inactive, you can't get the verification code to sign in. No worries we can sort this out. You'll need to update the email linked to your MYOB account. The best way to do this is by reaching out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount so they can verify your details and help you switch to a new email.

    Hi Sai,

    the email address I used to lodge this query is for a different account/business that I also have.

    I have tried via MOCA and tried to submit a case via MyAccount as you suggested, but it won't let me do that with the inactive email connected to the company I need to access. How else can I contact someone who can help me sort this out?

    Hi,  I replied yesterday - see below

     

    The email address I used to log in to lodge this query is for a different account/business that I also have. No problems with this account.

     

    I need access to a different account/business.  I can access the desktop version but it is not up to date (transactions, reports etc).  I have changed the email email in desktop version but that hasn't helped. Do I need to call the help line?  Online information is not helping.

    Hi roscov,

     

    Yes, you'll need to give our support team a call to sort this out. Make sure you have your account information handy so they can update the email linked to your old account. They’ll get everything sorted out for you!
