Income type for bridging visa holder

Hi,

Please advise which Income Type would be appropriate for a new employee with bridging visa.

There are some categories including 'Salary & Wages''Closely held payees' 'WHM' 'Seasonal' and 'Labour'. She is recognised as an Australian resident for tax purpose.

Many thanks.

  • Hi kiko_66,

Cheers for checking in! In MYOB, the usual pay type is salary and wages, but it can change depending on how the ATO wants you to report it. Here’s a handy guide to the STP Phase 2 income types and when to use each one. To be sure, it’s worth double‑checking with the ATO or your financial advisor.

    Cheers,

    Princess
