Link a User ID to your MYOB account

I havent changed anything for my MYOB account but when I tried to log in, a message with "Link a User ID to your MYOB account" pops up. Can anyonw advise what to do please?

  • Hi! Asking for assistance.

     

    I am unable to access my client's MYOB file and receiving below message. I was able to access it the other day but when I log in today and try to access the file, below message shows. I try to link my user ID but it doesnt work.

    Is the company file also an AccountRight company file? If so, complete the following process in the AccountRight Desktop application:

     

    1. Navigate to Setup>>User Access
    2. Select the desired User ID i.e. Administrator
    3. Enable the This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account
    4. Enter the Email address you will sign in as
    5. Select Save - You will receive a prompt about updating online access. You can select Yes to this message.
    6. Close out of the User Access window

    The above process manually links that User ID to your email address so you ideally will not encounter that link window when accessing the browser interface as it's already linked.
