Reinstate Online User Access

Hi

 

I have removed the online file access of an employee. Their user account details are intact and active in the company file when viewed in MYOB but their access has been removed in the web-based Manage Online Access area. 

 

I attempted to send and email invitation to them but the system says they already exist. How can I provide them with online access??

    Thanks for your post.

     

    To re-invite a use to your company file so they can have access, you may need to check first if their existing user ID is still in file under user access window. To do this, go to Setup > User Access. Under 'Manage Users' window, look for the user ID that was used by the user. Once found, click the recycle bin icon to delete the existing user ID and then create a new one to invite them. More information regarding your concern can be found in the Help Article: Invite a user to an online file.

    Hi,

     

    I have the same issue for a returning user. I can not delete the user by click on recycle bin as the user is related to transactions. I have invited the user online with same email ID but user can not open the company file and neither i can see the user under user list. Then when i send the invite again it says that user is already a member.

    any idea how can i add the user again who has joined again.

      Hi htp and RineshKumar,

      In this matter, you need to invite them as an Advisor instead of a File User. You can usually use the drop-down menu on the invitation already sent on my.myob to change the invitation to inviting them as an Advisor instead of a File User.

       To do this:

      1. choose Users from the company menu in the top right corner.
      2. If in the new screen the user to be deleted is not listed, click the Status button and select all entries.
      3. In the new screen (showing user details), click the Delete button in the left corner.
      4. Note: You may have to unassigned rights first and click Save.

      You should be able to delete the user and use Create advisor successfully.

        Hi Earl,

         

        Thanks for the reply.

        I want to send invitation to second user on the below list but message appears to say that invitation couldn't be sent because this person is already entitled to use this company. But under user list the user has no access.

        How can i fix this?
