Where can I find the spellcheck dictionary which drops out after an AccountRight update?

Updated this morning and now access to Spellcheck dictionary seems impossible.

So the word "Purchase" we are told is incorrectly spelt. Previously if a word that wasn't in the dictionary was used we could select to "Update Dictionary" but that is now nota an option. It seems that the dictionary has gone AWOL or MIA!!

    Hey Jaydee,

     

    Looks like the spell check dictionary might be playing up. It's possible that the settings for it have been switched off. Head over to:

     

    • Setup.
    • Preferences.
    • Windows tab and check if the 'Automatically Check Spelling in Text Fields Before Recording Transactions' option is ticked. If it's unticked, give it a tick and see if that brings the dictionary back to life.

  • Hi, I had the same problem.  Doreen's fix below works, but mine was already ticked when I went into it.  

    What worked was unticking it, log out of MYOB, log back in and then tick it again.  Then it started working.
