Lodge BAS as a business

Hello,

 

My client is getting a CMN.ATO.AUTH.008 error message when trying to lodge their BAS in MYOB, which indicates that MYOB thinks they are trying to lodge as a BAS/tax agent (Which of course they are not, so therefore cannot get authorization from ATO.)

 

How do they reset their BAS lodgment settings to "Lodge as a business"?

    Hi MrMoss,

     

    The CMN.ATO.AUTH.008 error usually means there’s an issue with the software ID number not matching. Check out the steps in the link to see if they help with the error you’re experiencing.

     

    If you're still having trouble with your client's STP report, it might be best to reach out to our team via the MyAccount window or online help.

    Thanks for your reply. I couldn’t see the link you mentioned though.

     

    By the way, this was for lodging BAS, not STP.
