Reconciliations

I have a problem with reconciling my accounts.

After I have reconciled an account, a random transaction will 'pop' back into the file to be reconciled again.

This is just there, it does not affect the totals.

MYOB says that I must have changed something in that transaction - I know no changes have been made.

I can see in the previous reconciliations that the transaction has been processed.

All reconciliations are submitted as 0.00 out of balance.

The fix is that I have to undo the previous reconciliations back to that date and re do them - some of these transactions are 2 months old and some from the previous month.

Has any one else had this issue and have you been able to get it fixed?

    Hi Lodauto,

Thanks for your detailed input. It’s unusual for a previously reconciled transaction to reappear in the Reconcile Accounts window, as this usually means something on the transaction has changed — for example, the date, amount, account, or transaction type. Since you’ve confirmed that no changes were made, I’d recommend getting in touch with our back-end team so they can investigate this further for you. You can reach them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.

    Regards,
    Earl

  • I also spent 2 and 3/4 hours on the phone with the MYOB staff and the result was that I must have done something because it doesn't happen in MYOB - ever.

MYOB may want to check the forums as this has been happening for at least 4 years that I can see in some way or another.
