Emailing receipts

There is no option to view receipts & email it out to customers in MYOB Business 

  • Hi Vikash_Naidu,

     

    Currently, when your customer makes a payment, you can provide them a copy of the invoice (showing the payment) as a receipt. See this link for more detailed information to assist with this. Having the option to view a receipt before sending it to customers is a great idea. I highly recommend posting this in our MYOB Business Product Board Ideas for feature consideration.

    This is not a solution. its actually a very poor work around. Every other company I deal with will send a paid receipt automatically. 

    ( Currently, when your customer makes a payment, you can provide them a copy of the invoice (showing the payment) as a receipt ) but when using bank feeds, you have to wait for the feeds to be updated and then match the payment to the invoice.

    I agree with you pippypip. There should be a function to turn on automatic receipt emails once the balance is marked as zero.

  • It's actually required by law to provide a receipt to your customer when paying over a certain amount.  Why this functionality only happens automatically via card payments and not when automatically reconciled by bank deposit is beyond me.  Why MYOB keeps ignoring this and using this workaround as an excuse is even more frustrating

     

    I love how they posted this as solved, but asked you to post the idea in the same forum that you requested it.  That proves that they don't care

  • Has this issue been resolved yet? It is really frustrating when I reconcile the invoice payments through the dashboard and then have to go back and find the closed invoices just to send a receipt.

    I don't think they're interested in fixing this. This issue has been raised a number of times.

    It’s the most basic thing that when an invoice is paid that a receipt it sent. I agree, they aren’t interested as if they were it would have been don’t long ago
