We updated our email address log in and now it is showing this error.

Our original Gmail account I set MYOB up with was no longer accepting new emails, so I updated the email login to our new business email and now I can not log in.

 

I have tried contacting MYOB 5 times and have had no luck in getting a response that works.

 

Is anyone able to help me get back in as I have a meeting with the accountant on wednesday and I will need to give them access to our MYOB account.


Any help would be amazing.

    Hi Jodes7484,

     

    Error message might because the admin user ID isn't linked properly to the online file. You could try the following steps below:

     

    • Open the file in the desktop version of AccountRight from the online library.
    • Go to the setup menu and choose user access.
    • Select the administrator user and check if the same email address is in the email address field. If it is, uncheck "This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account."
    • Click save.
    • Go back to user access in the setup menu.
    • Select the administrator user again and check "This user will sign on with my.MYOB account."
    • Enter the same email login address and click save and invite user.
    • Click Yes to update in my.MYOB when prompted.
    • Ensure no other User IDs are linked to that email address. Remove any duplicates (including inactive ones).
    • Take a backup of the online file, restore it by overwriting the existing one, and check if you can access the file on the browser.
