Accounts payable & Super

One of our super payments bounced due to it being the wrong account number. Our accountant said he moved this to accounts payable. Where would I find accounts payable and how do I rectify this payment now that the account has been sorted?

I'm sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet. If you use Pay super the Help Article, Returned super contributions, has detailed instructions for this. You'll need to get your accountant to move the amount back to the Super payable liability account.

If you don't use Pay super, record a Spend money transaction and allocate to the Accounts payable account. You'll then need to pay the contribution through your clearing house. Accounts payable is a liability account typically used for amounts you owe to suppliers.
