Business owner as Approving Manager
Can anyone advice how to setup someone (business owner) who is not a staff to be Team Approving Manager?

Thank you for your post.
In order for them to be Approving Managers, you will need to create an employee card for them. This will then allow you to add them to the location as the approving manager.
To ensure they are not reported through STP, you can select them as 'Other - Not reportable' as their Employment type in their employee card.
